...About The Ministry Fast...

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry.” Mat 4:1-2

Before Jesus begun his Ministry, he fasted. If Jesus needed the power of fasting, then what more of us disciples! Living by Jesus as an example, we invite you to join the Paradigm Shifters in the Ministry Fast, dedicating our Ministries and Life to God in 2014. May God increase our desire to do his will, seek him first, and his grace that we may endure.

God's purpose for fasting is to cleanse our spirits so that we can be closer to him thereby be empowered to live fruitful and overcoming lives. During fasting, we enter the zone of closer union with God, and in this zone are higher levels of anointing, spiritual stamina and spiritual authority over matters concerning us and others. “Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the LORD will protect you from behind. Then when you call, the LORD will answer. "Yes i am here," he will quickly reply.” Isiah 58: 8-9.

"Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water where you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.
